In 1972 he held the first international conference on the environment:the Stockholm Conference, whose objective was to raise awareness among world leaders on the magnitude of environmental problems and to institute policies to eradicate them.

Ironically, we were just talking about how Penny Arcade's first thought about SL is kinky virtual sex, but what's the point complaining, when the top five sites by active visitors include a nude beach and bukkake? Speaking of which, longtime SLer David Cartier made an important point in Comments last month: "I don't see how it's in anyone's interest that Linden Lab even allow property names like 'Bukkake Bliss Island'. Some of us try to combat the widespread idea that Second Life is nothing but a wasteland of sexually deviant... but Linden Lab isn't helping things."
